You may call your groups Sunday School Life Groups, Community Groups, or a host of other names, but whatever you call it, we want to help your group be a great group. We built the podcast to encourage and equip adult small group leaders at Brook Hills and beyond.
Jay Gordon is the Adult & Small Groups Minister at The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama, where he also leads a group. He has almost 40 years experience in groups ministry. Jay is married to Liz, and they have two married children and one granddaughter. He grew up in Northwest Alabama, graduated Jacksonville State University (AL) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (TX), and has served churches in Alabama and Arkansas since 1984.
Chris Amaro is a software engineer in Birmingham. He is married to Wendy and has four children. Chris provides technical power behind the podcast and adds insightful commentary based on his small group leadership experience at Brook Hills.
